Nahuatl (nāhuatl/nawatlahtolli)
English is the language spoken by the Hopi tribe today mainly, but they actually have an interesting native language that originates from the Aztecs. This is much different than the surrounding Pueblo tribes of the southwest United States. The native language is called Nahuatl and it is spoken mostly in Mexico. It is such an ancient language, that it was originally more of a pictograph system, describing ideas more than actual words. The Spanish were the ones who changed the language into an orthographic system like it is today.
